Directed by Kenneth Lonergan (You Can Count on Me) and starring Anna Paquin, Matt Damon, Mark Ruffalo, J. Smith-Cameron, Matthew Broderick and Jean Reno, Margaret is about a 17 year old student in New York high school that feels it is certain inadvertently played a role in a traffic accident that claimed the life of a woman. In his attempt to put things right she meets opposition at every stage.
Torn by frustration, begins emotionally brutalizing her family, friends, teachers, and most importantly, herself. She suddenly faced a fundamental truth: that his ideals of youth are on a collision course with reality and the commitments of the adult world.
