The Big Bang Theory The Recombination Hypothesis review

On this week of The Big Bang Theory, Sheldon tries to imagine what humans would be like if they have evolved from lizards in lieu of mammals, while waiting for his real life size Spock board, onto to more details about what happened in the show.As Penny was getting ready to go on the date, being clueless to what she wants to wear, mean while back to Sheldon who is apparently either playing a game with Raj or he is really clueless about this sexual innuendos. Back to the weird talk Amy and Bernadette had concerning double dates and discussed if it's true that Leonard is on his deathbed or no. Another weird conversation was between Leonard and the guys, talking about what happened with Raj's sis, and his fixation on Penny and the reasons behind it, and is it because she is the exact opposite of his mother, and he decided to go along with the date with Penny, although it seems really weird. On a side note he got a government grant, thought the lasers won't work as they should, but he is enjoying the money.As for the date itself, it was rather weird as they were acting like they didn't go out together before, and they looked like they were enjoying their time, and it was all going fine until Penny got mad after Leonard moved to fast, and she is not to be blamed. And it resulted in Leonard heading back home at around 8:30. And after the date failed, as if it wasn't enough but comments made by Howard about him living with his mom made it worsezszz, but all of that turned 180 degree when Penny texted him telling she is waiting by the door with just a robe, wanting sex with no talks.But of course, no good thing goes uncaught, as Sheldon catches him while trying to get back to his apartment, but he is then convinced that Leonard was at the gas station using the restroom, he even went there again just to convince Sheldon with his lie. The day after they go eat and Penny is their waitress, and after a few harsh words from Leonard, they fight, and they met at night again with a text and a lot of sex. Which then ends in a bad way after he over thinks it all over again.As for the alternative route, it starts again with Sheldon crying over his wrong Spock, but this time she is the one who asks about what they are doing, and he confirms that he thought and agrees, the same weird double dating conversation occurs, but this time it ends by her going to the drugstore.All in all, this episode brought a new idea, with the different storylines and chain of events of him and Penny being back with each other, which leaves us wondering if the date in reality would end badly, or would it go well, and wonder if they are even getting back to each other.
