Summit has released the first trailer for the new fantasy film 50/50, the true story of a young man (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) who is diagnosed with cancer at 27 and gives a 50/50 chance of survival. The study is obviously aware that "cancer" and "comedy" usually do not mix and so were the film at the beginning and I am happy to say that 50/50 (formerly titled I'm a cancer ) is very funny and touching. Director Jonathan Levine (The Wackness) is able to balance the serious with the funny incredibly accessible and entertaining. This is one of the best movies I've seen so far this year.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt is Adam, a young man in good health with a beautiful girlfriend lives in (Bryce Dallas Howard) who one day in a routine checkup, discovers he has a severe form of cancer. The news is a blow to his best friend (Seth Rogen), mother (Anjelica Huston) and, of course, his girlfriend. He began to go through chemotherapy, see a psychologist (Anna Kendrick), but Adam is impossible to deal with this could be the end of his life.
Recently, we re-ran a fan of this movie, who said: "If it were not so funny, sometimes raw, I'd call this a contender for Oscar," and I agree with that sentiment. The film is funny, it is rude, but it's also incredibly touching without being too depressing or too light. The film is a contender Oscar will be discussed, but the film that leads to Share (Philadelphia, Terms of Endearment, etc.) have certainly done well in recent years. The biggest obstacle is not critical, however. It will be a public confused by the title, or not at all excited to see the man's death in battle. Even if he does not use it for sex.
Inspired by personal experiences, 50/50 is an original tale about friendship, love, survival and finding humor in unlikely places. Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Seth Rogen star as best friends whose lives are changed by a cancer diagnosis. Rogen is also a producer with Evan Goldberg and Ben Karlin. Jonathan Levine directs from a script by Will Reiser. "We have worked with Will Da Ali G Show, and it was shortly after we learned he was sick." Souvenirs Rogen. "As shocking, sad, confused and generally screwed up as it was, we could not ignore that because we were so ill-equipped to handle the situation, strange things kept happening. Will was better, and when he did, we thought that the best way out something good the situation was to make him write a screenplay. Ideally, we wanted to make a film that is so funny, sad, honest and I hope that the experience we went through. Once the manuscript was completed, it quickly become a passion project for us all.
It helped us to get along with Will's struggle and their experiences. "50/50 is the story of a boy and transformation, yes, sometimes funny journey to health. 50/50 draws its emotional core by Will Reiser's own experience with cancer and remember that friendship and love, no matter what strange turns they take, are the greatest healers.
